WOW! I am worse than Spiral Architect when it comes to updating websites.

Rrecently Erik Rosvold has been replaced.

Here is the official press release on the info:
Effective immediately, ZERO HOUR has parted ways with vocalist, Erik Rosvold. The other members of ZERO HOUR have not seen or directly talked to Erik since we got back from our European tour in April 2003. Since that time our only method of communication with Erik has been by email (with little response from him).  Jasun, Mike and I felt we'd lost control of ZERO HOUR and even thought about discontinuing ZERO HOUR.  Erik would make sporadic ventures into the studio to work on the new album but progress was slow and has ground to a halt for months now.  Frankly we were all concerned and at the same time a bit unsure of how to proceed.  We loved what Erik's vocals brought to the band and always felt that he was an integral part of the band…but we also knew that if the band was going to continue he would have to be replaced.  Finding a replacement for Erik would not be easy.

We are pleased to announce that Fred Marshall is the new vocalist in ZERO HOUR!  Jasun and I have been fans of Fred's vocals ever since we heard his prior band's demo, "Reigning Thoughts" by Destiny's Void. Through the assistance of Doug Ott of Enchant we were able to get in contact with Fred.  We called Fred and sent him Towers of Avarice and now we are working together on the next disc!

Fred will start tracking in November and all vocals will be tracked in December. Zero Hour will have our next CD released in early 2005!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our fans for their patience, without you we are nothing.  ZERO HOUR will always give you our best and one thanks is never enough. We know the wait has been long but we will not let you down.  We would also like to thank Ken Golden/Sensory Records for their constant support.

ZERO HOUR

Also Jasun Tipton has picked up an endorsement with Kerly Music Sinister Strings.

Most of the page has been updated. Now we sit and wait for the release of the new album in 2005!

Zero Hour was awesome at Progpower! If you werent there,
shame on you! Anyway, by the looks of things, 48 of my own will
be posted as soon as i get everything reduced to a smaller
size and I am even going to make a slide show picture video with a track
off either the S/T or the Towers of Avarice Cd. I will leave it up
to the fans (you guys) to choose which track and i will make sure
it will be the audio for this slide show video.

Please send your favorite song that is between 4 and 5 minutes
to my email which you can find on the contacts page.
If anyone has pics from progpower please let me know about it.
You will be credited for sure!

Another big news is the official Zero Hour and Death Machine forum.
Just click on forum and check it out at the bottom of the page

I bet some of you are like, "Who the hell is Death Machine"?
IT is a side project of Jasun,Troy, and Mike and a very cool
singer named Kirk! It is VERY heavy. It is a mix between
Meshuggah, Nevermore, and Soilwork. Jasun and Troy's
very own sister, Lindsey, sings on the last track.

Zero Hour have officially sold out of all their S/T albums.
Good news though is that there is going to be a reissue of it with
a few bonus tracks on it released by Sensory. It will Kick ass!

More and more cool sections will be added to this site!

I have some sad news to share: Jasun Tipton quotes
"Our buddy Frank Mendez passed away the morning of July 13th 2002, leaving
behind a wife and two boys. Frank was the singer of Zero Hour from 1994 to
1996. I remember being told by Ken Golden that we were getting talk on the PM
Board by Tetsu, who was raving about our 5 song demo titled "Discovery". This
demo featured Frank on Vocals and was a kick ass demo. My heart goes out to
Val, Brandon and Kyle who he loved very much. Frank left the band to spend
more time with his family and truly was a great guy. We love you Frank, God
bless you and your loved ones."

My condolences go out to Frank
